The statement condemned the Lee Myung Bak regime for officially announcing its full participation in the PSI on the same day under the pretext of the north's underground nuclear test.

It held that the north conducted a nuclear test because the United States and its followers kicked off a noisy racket for sanctions against the north, taking issue with its satellite launch.

Nevertheless, the Lee regime perpetrated such rash act as adding fuel to the burning house by fully participating in the PSI, the statement said, adding that the PSI is a mechanism faked up by the U.S. to pressurize those countries hostile to it, the north in particular, under the pretext of "non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction."

It stressed that the prevailing situation requires all Koreans to turn out in the struggle to protect peace on the Korean Peninsula from the reckless acts of the Lee regime.

The Lee regime should bear in mind that it will not be able to escape the nation's stern judgment, it warned.
