Acting upon this instruction, they threatened that meetings with large attendance would be held in check in advance in south Korea, and their participants would be arrested on the spot and, if not, they would be chased till they are rounded up and punished.

Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

The fascist action taken by the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors is a product of its criminal scenario to "totally block" the massive advance of people from all walks of life for justice and progress, democratic freedom and rights and mercilessly suppress their actions by violence.

The south Korean people's struggle for democratic freedom and rights is just and their patriotic cause of independence, democracy and national reunification is unanimously supported and approved by the Koreans and all other progressives of the world.

The south Korean people will never cease their struggle for justice and progress for fear of the above-said fascist suppression. They will carry on their struggle for independence, democracy and national reunification, braving death.

This fascist action taken against the south Korean people from all walks of life would only touch off their bitterer resentment at the Lee gang and harden their will to intensify their struggle.

They will struggle to the last, not yielding to the fascist suppression, and bring the fascist regime veiled with the signboard of "pragmatism" to its downfall without fail. The group of traitors is fated to meet their miserable end due to the people's fierce resistance.
