Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) -- Nine political parties and organizations of Mexico, including the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, the Mexican National Coordinating Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Mexican Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification, released a joint statement on May 27 in celebration of the DPRK's second successful nuclear test. The statement said the nuclear test was an admirable deed as it was intended to defend the supreme interests of the DPRK and the sovereignty of the country and the dignity of the nation under the condition that the U.S. imperialists have been getting evermore pronounced in their nuclear threat and moves to stifle the DPRK. It expressed the expectation that the successful nuclear test would be conducive to defending the sovereignty of the country and the nation and socialism and ensuring peace and security of the Korean Peninsula and areas surrounding it with the might of Songun, an invincible treasured sword. It called upon all political parties, governments and organizations in the world to resolutely foil the anti-DPRK moves of the U.S. imperialists and their followers and render strong support and encouragement to the Workers' Party of Korea and the government and the people of the DPRK in their struggle to protect the national sovereignty and socialism. Meanwhile, the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist) in its statement issued on May 28 said that the DPRK has bolstered up its self-defensive military muscle to protect the sovereignty of the country and its socialist system by successfully conducting the second nuclear test. Noting that the nuclear test conducted by the DPRK is one of the ways for defeating the imperialist aggression and ensuring peace on the Korean Peninsula at present, the statement stressed that the world peace-loving people should fully support the measures taken by the DPRK to defend peace. |
