Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) -- The U.S. formally announced at the 22nd U.S.-south Korea meeting on policy initiative, held in Washington some time ago, that it decided to sell unmanned reconnaissance plane Global Hawk to the south Korean puppets. Minju Joson Tuesday says in a signed commentary in this regard: This shows that the U.S. is seeking to ignite a new war on the Korean Peninsula and expecting much of the south Korean puppets in doing so. The aims sought by the U.S. at present are to destroy the basis of peace on the Korean Peninsula and create condition and circumstances for provoking a war of aggression on the DPRK by holding the absolute military strategic upper-hand over the DPRK's self-defensive war deterrent. So, the U.S. is keen on strengthening the military alliance with the south Korean puppets. What remains to be done is to drive the situation on the peninsula to the brink of war by extremely aggravating the inter-Korean relations. Recently the U.S. is getting on the nerves of the DPRK by having plugged the south Korean puppets into the PSI and intensifying the sanctions against the DPRK. This is an example of the said fact. All the facts go to prove that the U.S. is a sworn enemy of the Korean nation which does not hesitate to bring catastrophe of a nuclear war to the Korean nation and its territory in a bid to realize its criminal ambition of domination. Now that the U.S. is still persisting in the outdated military confrontation policy, there can be no other option but to strengthen the self-defensive war deterrent in every way so as to ensure peace and stabilize the situation on the Korean Peninsula. The army and people of the DPRK love and want peace but do not allow the aggressors' provocation. The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppets should behave themselves if they do not want to meet the fate of tiger moth. |
