The statement accused the south Korean warmongers of officially announcing the above-said measure, pursuant to the anti-DPRK racket of the U.S. and its followers, pushing the situation on the Korean Peninsula to such a pass where a war may break out any moment.

The nation's curse and resentment against the Lee group are running high as it is working with blood-shot eyes to plunge the whole territory of Korea into shambles of a nuclear war, backed by the U.S., quite contrary to the ardent desire of the compatriots for peaceful reunification, it said, and went on:

The Lee group is the band of dyed-in-the-wool sycophants and traitors only keen to stay its power, subservient to outsiders, disregarding the destiny of the nation and war maniacs calling for permanent division and war, not reunification and peace.

The statement said that the confederation expresses full support and solidarity with the fair and aboveboard counter-measures taken by the DPRK to defend the dignity of the nation and sovereignty of the country. It, at the same time, bitterly denounced the south Korean authorities for having taken the treacherous and anti-reunification action to fully participate in the U.S.-led PSI.
