Pyongyang, June 4 (KCNA) -- The Colombian Pyongyang Cultural Exchange Centre was inaugurated with due ceremony on May 19 on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the start of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The chairman of the centre was elected at the ceremony.
He said that the centre would briskly conduct colorful activities in different areas of Colombia to widely introduce the proud successes the Korean people are achieving in building a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.
Discussed there were the problems for activating the centre and its detailed action program.
