Pyongyang, June 7 (KCNA) -- Lectures were held at the Guinea－Korea Friendship Association, the Kim Il Sung Institute of Agricultural Science and the National Museum of Guinea on May 27 and 29 on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Banou Keita, chairman of the Guinea-Korea Friendship Association, said that the single-minded unity is the revolutionary philosophy of Kim Jong Il, adding it is thanks to him that the DPRK could win victory after victory in the revolution and construction by dint of the single-minded unity.
Malik Souma, director general of the Kim Il Sung Institute of Agricultural Science of Guinea, said that thanks to the Songun politics, the unique political mode of Kim Jong Il, the army in the DPRK has not only safeguarded the country's defence line as firm as an iron wall but also played the role of a pillar and a driving force of the revolution steering the overall cause of socialism and the political and ideological might of the whole society has grown strong incomparably on its basis.
Riyad Chaloub, chief of the Guinean Group for the Study of February 16 Art, noted that the truth and vitality of the Songun idea, philosophy on army, are clearly proved in socialist Korea as it clarifies the philosophical principle that a strong army guarantees the sovereignty and independence of the country and the nation and the victory of socialism.
