The secretary general of the Union Solidarity and Development Association of Myanmar in his speech made at the meeting said that one of the feats performed by Kim Jong Il in leading the Party and revolution to a shining victory, shouldering upon himself the destiny of the country and nation is that he has strengthened and developed the WPK into a guiding force of the Songun revolution.

He stressed that only victory and glory are in store for the WPK led by Kim Jong Il, an outstanding brilliant commander of Songun.

The vice department director of the Centre for the Information of International Science and Technology in Russia at the briefing on Kim Jong Il's revolutionary activities said that the Korean people strikingly demonstrated their national power before the world once again through the successful launch of satellite Kwangmyongsong-2 under such difficult situation.

He expressed belief that the Korean people would achieve bigger successes in the drive for building a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.
