Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) --The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy released a statement on June 2 in support of the May 29 statement issued by a spokesman for the DPRK Foreign Ministry.
The statement fully supported the DPRK's steps to protect the sovereignty and supreme interests of the country and bitterly condemned the U.S. imperialists and their followers for working hard to stifle socialist Korea centred on the popular masses.
Accusing the UNSC of sticking to the stand hostile to the DPRK, the statement held that the DPRK has a legitimate right to take measures for self-defence to cope with it.
Recalling that those countries which conducted 99.99 percent of all the nuclear tests gathered to apply additional sanctions against the sovereign state which conducted a nuclear test for self-defence, the statement emphasized that such sanctions will never work on the DPRK.
