Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) -- The Special Committee for New Politics of the Solidarity for Implementing the South-North Joint Declaration in south Korea released a statement on June 8, calling for turning out in the struggle to defend and implement the June 15 joint declaration.
The statement said that the Lee Myung Bak "government" finds itself in the worst crisis, rejected by the people for its anachronistic policy of confrontation with the north and fascist dictatorial rule whereby the inter-Korean relations have been bedeviled and democracy stifled.
The present "government" is trying to quell the mindset of the angry people, talking about "security crisis," but it can never evade the blame for having spoiled the inter-Korean relations, it pointed out.
The people from all walks of life announced that they would hold large-scale anti-"government" rallies with the June resistance, the anniversary of the June 15 joint declaration, etc as a momentum, the statement noted, stressing that the stubborn struggle against Lee Myung Bak and for democracy should be launched to drive the present "government" to destruction.
