Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) -- The U.S. forces present in south Korea staged a farce of opening the air combat forces to the public on June 8 as an exceptional case, according to Yonhap News of south Korea.
That day, a brass hat concerned of the U.S. forces present in south Korea disclosed that the U.S. air force in south Korea keeps more than 100 planes, including F-16, A-10 and U-2 at present.
He also asserted that the U.S. air force in south Korea is kept as it is and, on this basis, the strong and close combined defence system is being maintained between south Korea and the United States.
The U.S. imperialists made bluffing, opening to the public the latest type nuclear war hardware involved in the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises when they were staged in the past period.
By opening the above-said armed force while straining the situation on the Korean Peninsula with each passing day the U.S. imperialists seek to give shots in the arms of the south Korean puppets and fan up the inter-Korean confrontation.
