Recalling that June 19, 1964 is the day Kim Jong Il started working at the C.C., the WPK, the bulletin said that the nearly half a century-long history of his leadership over the Party is one showing the personality of a genuine statesman serving the people.

Kim Jong Il is the leader pursuing the policy of love and trust in the people, the bulletin noted, adding that his loving care for the people reaches everywhere they live and all treasures and creations of the country are closely associated with it.

Citing facts to prove the boundless loving care shown by him for the people, the bulletin continued:

He is a model of popular leaders as he is totally dedicated to the people.

He deems it as his lifelong mission and noble cause to devote himself to the people and regards it as the greatest pleasure to dedicate his all to them.

His personality as a genuine popular leader can find its manifestation in the slogan "We Serve the People!" put up by him.
