Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- The Joint Secretariat, the Overseas Headquarters, headquarters of Koreans in Japan and China and European, U.S. and Canadian regional headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon) released statements and articles on June 7 and 8 to the memory of Kang Hui Nam, honorary chairman of the South Headquarters of Pomminryon.
The statements and articles referred to the fact that Kang Hui Nam killed himself in protest against the anti-reunification and fascist moves of the Lee Myung Bak regime in south Korea.
They denounced the anti-reunification moves of the Lee regime suppressing the patriotic activities of the South Headquarters of Pomminryon as the last-ditch effort of those impressed with the ruling crisis.
Saying that civic and public organizations, religionists, media persons and university professors in south Korea rose up in a large-scale anti-"government" struggle on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the June Popular Resistance, they called upon all Koreans to turn out in the struggle for punishing the pro-U.S. Lee Myung Bak regime and achieving independence, democracy and reunification.
