Citing facts to prove the south Korean puppet warmongers' recent frantic arms buildup, the statement branded this as an unpardonable wild act to incite confrontation with fellow countrymen that brought to light once again their despicable true colors as a shock brigade in executing the U.S. policy for a war of aggression against the DPRK, nuclear war servants and war maniacs.

The measures recently taken by the DPRK to bolster its nuclear deterrent were a quite just exercise of its legitimate right to self-defence as they were intended to defend the dignity and sovereignty of the nation and the peace of the country from the reckless and brigandish moves for confrontation and war against the DPRK on the part of the hostile forces including the U.S. and the south Korean puppets, the statement noted, and went on:

It is, therefore, absolutely preposterous for the group of traitors to talk about "threats" from someone.

The reality clearly proves that the group is rushing headlong into a war only, in disregard of the inter-Korean relations and the peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.

It is the steadfast stand of the DPRK to return fire for fire.

The group had better stop its rash acts, clearly understanding what the DPRK really meant when it clarified it would take practical actions similar to those done during the war time.
