Pyongyang, June 14 (KCNA) -- An Italian preparatory committee for commemorating the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung was inaugurated with due ceremony on June 8.
Miriam Pellegrini Ferri, president of the Group of Dialectical Materialists of Italy, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee at the ceremony.
It discussed the committee's action plan for widely introducing the immortal exploits performed by Kim Il Sung in the Korean revolution and the human cause of independence through media and holding colorful political and cultural events till 2012.
