Pyongyang, June 14 (KCNA) -- Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, and Edmond Jouve, director-general of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, separately issued statements on June 5 and 8 on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez in his statement said that the WPK has grown stronger organizationally and ideologically over the past 45 years under the leadership of Kim Jong Il, adding that this was a basic factor of accelerating socialist construction in the DPRK.
Noting that Kim Jong Il's distinguished political caliber and foresightedness as a leader were fully demonstrated in the fact that the north-south summit took place and the June 15 joint declaration was adopted in Pyongyang in June 2000, the statement expressed conviction that President Kim Il Sung's last instruction for national reunification would be carried out without fail thanks to the leadership of Kim Jong Il.
Edmond Jouve noted in his statement that Kim Jong Il has laid a firm foundation for building a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation in the DPRK over the past 45 years by successfully carrying forward the cause of Kim Il Sung, the father of socialist Korea.
The DPRK is winning one victory after another by firmly holding its initiative at all times even under the complicated international situation thanks to Kim Jong Il's outstanding far-sighted leadership, stressed the statement.
