Yang Yong Dong, chairman of the association, in a report recalled that Kim Jong Il has developed the WPK into an eternal party of President Kim Il Sung and a revolutionary party guided by his revolutionary idea by successfully carrying forward the revolutionary exploits performed by the President generation after generation.

All the Koreans in China will bear deep in mind the immortal revolutionary history and great exploits of Kim Jong Il and turn out as one in the patriotic movement for the prosperity of the motherland, keeping pace with the people in the DPRK bringing about a new leap forward on all fronts for building a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation, he added.

A meeting of the association was held on the same day to mark the 9th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration.

Cha Sang Bo, vice-chairman of the association, in a report praised Kim Jong Il for having performed undying exploits to shine long in the history of the movement for national reunification, stressing the need to wage a more dynamic movement for independent reunification under the uplifted banner of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

Letters to Kim Jong Il were adopted at the meetings.

A similar event was held by Korean organizations in the Maritime Territory of Russia at the DPRK Consulate General in Nakhodka on June 11 to mark the above-mentioned anniversaries.
