Pyongyang, June 17 (KCNA) -- A Korean documentary film "The Great Leader Steering the Building of a Great Prosperous Powerful Nation to Victory" (part on political and ideological power) was screened at the People's Palace of Culture on Wednesday on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The film deals with the historic scenes showing that Kim Jong Il turned the DPRK into a political and ideological power with his tirelessly energetic leadership, holding high the banner of Songun during the "Arduous March" and the forced march.
It tells about the undying feats of the leader who brought about epoch-making changes in the revolution and construction by dint of the socialist idea by training the Korean People's Army to be an army strong in ideology and faith and guiding all the people to follow the indomitable fighting spirit of the revolutionary army.
It also deals with the impressive scenes showing that many models in devotedly defending the leader and performers of heroic merits emerged since the revolutionary soldier spirit and the Kanggye spirit prevailed all over the society and the torches of Songgang and Ranam were kindled by the inexhaustible mental power of the army and the people.
Watching the film were senior party and state officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of ministries and national institutions and working people in the city of Pyongyang.
