Important Day of DPRK Observed by Foreign Students

Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) -- A public presentation of composition of foreign students who are studying at Kim Il Sung University and Kim Hyong Jik University of Education was held under the title of "Under the care of brilliant commander of Songun" at the Pyongyang Cultural Exhibition on June 18 on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Present there were guest teachers from various countries, who are staying in the DPRK.

Students presented various works including narrative poem "sound of footsteps in June", travelogue "looking back upon immortal trace of brilliant commander of Songun" and visitor's record "Meeting talented children of Songun era".

The works warmly praised the greatness of Kim Jong Il who has opened up the golden days of Songun Korea.

They truthfully sang Korean songs "Hearts Longing for General" and "Journey of Songun Brings Happiness" and others.

Participants of the meeting looked round photos showing the exploits of Kim Jong Il, works of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and books introducing the politics, economy, culture and history of the DPRK.
