Nikolai Polishk, chairman of the Ukrainian "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, and other speakers noted with high appreciation that Kim Jong Il has consolidated the unity and cohesion of the WPK based on the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung as firm as a rock and developed it into an invincible party while working at the Central Committee of the WPK.

They said that the DPRK's satellite launches and nuclear tests displayed the standard of its scientific and technological development put on a high level under the Songun politics of Kim Jong Il and showed that nobody can provoke socialist Korea.

J. Tsevelma, member of the Guidance Council of the Mongolia-Korea Friendship Society, highly praised the ideological and theoretical and leadership exploits performed by Kim Jong Il for the Korean revolution and the human cause of independence.

Baharudin Basir, director of the P.T. Dwi Mitra Perkasa Co. of Indonesia, said that the WPK would always emerge victorious under the leadership of Kim Jong Il, adding that he has made tireless efforts to enhance the militant function and role of the party as the general staff of revolution.

Messages of greetings to Kim Jong Il were adopted at the functions held in Ukraine and Mongolia.
