Contained in the book are 18 pieces of reminiscences telling about the undying feats performed by President Kim Il Sung for national prosperity and the people's happiness and his noble popular traits.

Among them are reminiscences "Without expecting any privilege and benefit" and "Paternal affection felt on medicine price", which deal with the fact that the President taught the officials to share the turns and twists with the people and place the interests of the people before anything else and led the work for invariably enforcing the universal free medical care system.

Reminiscences "It is only you that I can depend on" and "Leading the people to do everything by their own efforts" vividly tell about the wise leadership of the President who called on workers in the field of the munitions industry during the grim Fatherland Liberation War and aroused them to the production of shells and guided the Taegye Islet tideland reclamation project.

The book also deals with the facts that the President visited a steel works to teach the Juche-based steel production method, encouraged the young people to perform feats in subduing sea and led the scientists to conduct researches in keeping with the specific conditions of the country and the interests of the people from the Juche-based stand.

Carried in it are reminiscences introducing the great love and noble popular traits of the President who had taken warm care of bereaved families of the revolutionary soldiers who were carried away, always remembering them.
