A memorial meeting was held on the spot where the Ryongsan tragedy occurred.

The participants strongly condemned the authorities for having forcibly evacuated inhabitants in Ryongsan under the plea of the "redevelopment" and ruthlessly killed those who protested against the evacuation.

They demanded Lee Myung Bak make an apology for the killing and punish those responsible for it.

At the end of the meeting its participants staged a demonstration.
