U.S. Imperialists Termed Provocateurs of Korean War

Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialists provoked a war of aggression against the DPRK early in the 1950s and brought untold misfortune and disaster to the Korean people. With no crafty artifice can they cover up their true colors as a provocateur of the war, says Rodong Sinmun Thursday in a signed article. It cites facts to prove that the U.S. imperialists occupied south Korea under the mask of "liberator" after the defeat of the Japanese imperialists in 1945 and stepped up the preparations for a war of aggression against the DPRK for the purpose of converting the Korean Peninsula into an advanced base and a military strategic stronghold for carrying out their anti-socialist strategy and the wild ambition for world domination after putting whole of Korea under their domination. The U.S. imperialists confirmed the D-day and the specific methods and procedures of the war and craftily worked to pass the buck for the outbreak of the war to the DPRK side in a bid to cover up their true colors as a provocateur, the article notes, and goes on: More than half a century has passed since the ceasefire but they are still working hard to launch a new war against the DPRK in a bid to realize their ambition to invade it. The U.S. imperialists are the sworn enemy of the Korean people as they have brought unspeakable disaster, misfortune and pain to them by provoking a war on the inviolable land of Korea in the past. Should they start another war against the DPRK, its army and people will wipe them out to the last man with thousand-fold retaliatory blows and give vent to the resentment at them pent up century after century. |
