Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- Premier of the DPRK Kim Yong Il sent a message of greetings to his Lao counterpart Bouasone Bouphavanh on June 23 on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
The message noted that over the past 35 years after the establishment of their diplomatic relations, the two countries have steadily developed the bilateral relations in politics, economy, culture and other fields under the banner of socialism.
It wished the Lao Prime Minister greater success in his responsible work, expressing belief that the excellent and traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would grow stronger.
Pak Ui Chun, foreign minister of the DPRK, too, sent a similar message to Thongloun Sisoulith, vice-prime minister and foreign minister of Laos, on the same day.
