Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- The Action Headquarters of the 17th-term south Korean Federation of University Student Councils issued a statement on June 23 condemning Lee Myung Bak for fully revealing his attempt to ignite a nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula at any cost by peddling what he called "extended deterrence" with his U.S master during his junket to the U.S.
The statement accused Lee of conducting such a disgraceful act as begging the U.S. to help solve even an internal issue of the nation during his tour.
The efforts to achieve peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula and prosperity common to the nation in the idea of "By our nation itself" went bust overnight due to the Lee Myung Bak regime's hostile acts against the DPRK, the statement noted, stressing:
A peaceful future of the Korean nation can hardly expected as long as Lee Myung Bak, sycophant, traitor and war maniac, is allowed to stay in power.
