The State Hydro-Meteorological Administration in charge of the first process of the forecast has deepened the research into boosting the accuracy rate of weather forecast.

Its research team collects and analyzes correctly the data on agro-meteorological phenomena in each period of ten-days and one month in close contact with the meteorological observatories in all parts of the country and, at the same time, renders monthly meteorological forecast to the relevant organs.

Its laborious data on present and future agro-meteorological phenomena constitute the precious basic information to do farming on the principle of the right crop in the right time in the agricultural field.

Entering this year the Academy of Agricultural Science is expanding the scope of crop growth forecast, covering fiber crops, oil-bearing crops and vegetables as well as grain crops and, at the same time, is pushing ahead with the growth forecast for pomiculture and poultry.

The academy is also exerting efforts to the prediction and forecast of main blight and harmful insects.

Scientists of the research institutes including the Crops Cultivation Institute and the Research Center for Agricultural Information Technology and all the provincial branch academies of agricultural science are taking thorough agro-technological measures according to the weather conditions and the agro-meteorological conditions to be foreseen.

The State Hydro-Meteorological Administration and the Academy of Agricultural Science are conducting a concerted operation for establishing a well-arranged information system in order to forecast the crop growth rapidly and correctly in close contact with the agricultural sector.

The released forecasts are greatly helpful towards backing in a scientific and technological way the officials and working people of the agricultural field in their efforts to make this year shine with fruitful agricultural production.
