Anniversary of Kim Jong Il's Start of Work at C.C., WPK Observed in Different Countries

Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) -- A film show, a lecture and a book, photo and handcrafts exhibition were held in Brazil and book, photo and handcrafts exhibitions in Guinea and Bulgaria from June 5 to 20 to mark the 45th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Moasir Roberto, chairman of the Brazilian Trade Unions Center of the Field of Tourism and Hotel, said that Kim Jong Il has developed the WPK into the most tested and experienced revolutionary party in the world, firmly defended the sovereignty of the country and dignity of the nation with his outstanding Songun politics and wisely led the Korean people in their struggle to build a great prosperous powerful nation and achieve the reunification of the country.

Banou Keita, chairman of the Guinea-Korea Friendship Association, said that the exhibition provided an opportunity to know better about the immortal exploits Kim Jong Il has performed by wisely leading the party, army and people of the DPRK, the heroic fighting spirit being displayed by the Korean people under his leadership and the development of Songun Korea.

The mayor of Pravets City of Bulgaria spoke highly of the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il, noting that the successes gained by the DPRK would be unthinkable without his exploits.

Participants of the film show appreciated the Korean film "The answer of the DPRK."

A DPRK book, photo and handcraft exhibition was held in Vientiane from June 18 to 25 to mark the above-said anniversary and the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the DPRK and Laos.
