Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) -- A Thai preparatory committee for commemorating the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung was formed with due ceremony on May 29.
The chairman of the Nakhon Phathom City Council of Nakhon Phathom Province and the chairman of the Nakhon Phathom Branch of the Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association were elected co-chairmen of the preparatory committee at the ceremony.
The preparatory committee decided to hold colorful political and cultural events to commemorate the centenary of his birth.
