Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) -- A seminar and a reading session on General Secretary Kim Jong Il's work "Giving Priority to Ideological Work Is Essential for Accomplishing Socialism" took place in Guinea and Uganda and a reading session on his work "On Having a Correct Viewpoint and Understanding of the Juche Philosophy" in Ethiopia between June 11 and 17 on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of his start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
It was stressed at the functions that Kim Jong Il in his work clarified that it is truth proved by history that socialism emerges victorious when one takes firm hold on ideology but goes to ruin when one fails to do so.
It was also mentioned there that the world socialist movement is sure to win thanks to the struggle of the popular masses who are awakened with the socialist idea and united guided by it and that the Korean people have firmly defended socialism and made steady victorious progress despite the vicious moves of the imperialists to stifle the DPRK.
