Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, traitor Lee Myung Bak held a "meeting" after inviting the representative of the "Grand National Party" and the president of the " Liberal Progress Party" to "Chongwadae" allegedly to brief them on the results of his U.S. junket. He was reported to have let loose a spate of self-praises of his humiliating and treacherous junket and called for "reaching a consensus on views" in the political camp and "supra-partisan cooperation" in the efforts to weather the present crisis in south Korea. Rodong Sinmun Saturday observes in a signed commentary in this regard: The so-called "meeting at Chongwadae" was no more than a fascist collusion and nexus to knock together ultra-right conservative forces in a bid to mercilessly crack down upon the people from all walks of life in their struggle for justice, progress and democracy of the south Korean society and national reunification and thus tide over the group of traitors' extreme ruling crisis. The fascist dictatorial rule pursued by the Lee group going against the will and interests of the people in south Korea is causing its ruling crisis to fester with each passing day, the commentary observes, and goes on: Lee keen to seek a way to get rid of the uncontrollable uneasiness and horror is disclosing his sinister intention to brutally suppress the massive struggle of the south Korean people, while working hard to strengthen the dictatorial system enforced under the signboard of "pragmatism" by rallying ultra-right conservative forces at odds and relying on their zealous backing. In order to put such fascist scenario into practice Lee invited traitors Pak Hui Thae and Ri Hoe Chang representing the pro-U.S. conservative forces to the "Chongwadae" in an effort to solicit "supra-partisan cooperation". His foolish gesture would only result in raising the vigilance of the popular masses and giving momentum to the anti-"government" struggle. With no artifice can Lee escape his miserable fate already sealed, warns the commentary. |
