Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- Organizations of Italy and the Czech Republic released statements on June 19 on the occasion of the month of international solidarity with the Korean people. The Italian Nino Pasti International Fund in its statement pointed out that the situation on the Korean Peninsula is deteriorating day by day due to the U.S. unjust hostile policy towards the DPRK, noting that it took an option to have nuclear deterrent because of the U.S. moves to stifle the DPRK and its nuclear threat. The statement stressed that it is a legitimate sovereign right for the DPRK to enlist every means possible to protect itself from the military threat of the U.S. imperialists further increasing with each passing day. The Czech, Moravian, Silesian Trade Unions' Association in its statement asserted that the U.S. should give up its policy towards the Korean Peninsula and make a policy switchover with a cooperative approach as it is directly responsible for the Korean issue. The statement strongly urged the U.S. to withdraw its occupation troops from south Korea and immediately roll back its hostile policy towards the DPRK. |
