The Secretariat of the Palestine Resistance Organization grouping Palestinian struggle organizations in Syria released a statement on June 17 to denounce the U.S. imperialists and their stooges' scheme to bring the Korean people into submission and put the Korean Peninsula under their complete domination.

The DPRK has the right to bolster up its self-reliant defence capability and develop science and technology in order to protect its sovereignty and achieve prosperity and development, the statement stressed, supporting all measures taken by the DPRK led by Kim Jong Il.

The Sri Lanka-People's Korea Friendship Association and the Sri Lankan Committee of Self-Reliance Studies in a statement on June 23 decisively rejected the UNSC "Resolution 1874" and hailed the DPRK Foreign Ministry statement.

We condemn the campaign the imperialists are staging against the DPRK in international arena and will vigorously struggle for peace and progress of mankind, the statement said.

The African Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People in its statement on June 19 said that genuine peace and stability can never be achieved unless every country, big or small, abides by the principle of equality. And it strongly urged the UNSC to repeal its "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK at once.
