This volume (Chapters 26-41) systematically deals with the immortal exploits President Kim Il Sung performed by wisely leading the struggle for the overall construction of socialism and its complete victory and making distinguished contribution to the cause of national reunification and the strengthening of the anti-imperialist independent forces in the period from January Juche 50 (1961) to October Juche 69 (1980).

Contained in the book are historical data on the ideo-theoretical activities and energetic guidance of the President who established the Juche-based economic management system in keeping with the requirement of the changed circumstances and brought about a radical turn in the work of the party and the working people's organizations so as to successfully push ahead with the overall construction of socialism.

It also tells about the facts that the President advanced the reasonable policies for the successful progress of the south Korean revolution and the cause of national reunification one after another and wisely guided the struggle for their materialization while leading the revolution and construction in the northern half of Korea to victory.

Described in the book in an overall way are the undying feats of the President who made enormous contributions to realizing the human cause of independence. It deals with the facts that he wisely led the struggle for the world revolution after advancing outstanding strategic and tactical policies, steadily maintained the independent stand in the Korean revolution and construction while rejecting the outsiders' interference, rendered disinterested support to the peoples of the countries fighting against the U.S. and developing countries and so forth.
