Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

The south Korean authorities' racket of "sanctions" against the DPRK amounts, in essence, to an open act to bring the inter-Korean relations to collapse and an extremely reckless hysteria intended to stifle fellow countrymen.

The Lee group is again becoming so ridiculous as to let loose rhetoric about "sincerity" and "aid" in a bid to cover up the treacherous and anti-reunification nature of "the sanctions" applied by them against the DPRK in collusion with outside forces. With no artifice can the group of traitors hide its sinister intention to bring the inter-Korean relations to collapse and stifle the DPRK lurking behind the above-said ruckus of "sanctions."

It is the scenario of the Lee group to invade the north by force of arms. To this end it is keen to spark off military conflicts between the north and the south by infringing upon the DPRK's dignity and sovereignty under the pretext of implementing the UNSC "resolution" and then ignite an all-out war.

The Lee group is sadly mistaken if it calculates it can gain something through the above-said "sanctions," counting on its U.S. master. The "sanctions" would only lead to a war and destruction of provocateurs.

The south Korean authorities would be well advised to stop at once their reckless acts, mindful that their racket of "sanctions" against the DPRK would only precipitate their miserable end.
