Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on June 18 to celebrate the 45th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Saying that Kim Jong Il's start of work at the WPK Central Committee was a historic event of weighty significance in developing the Korean revolution to victory, the statement noted that he has performed immortal exploits by wisely leading the political and ideological work and military affairs.
The statement stressed that thanks to his wise leadership, modern revisionism, opportunism and flunkeyism all were frustrated and brilliant victories achieved in all fields of the revolution and construction in the DPRK.
