The CARICOM member nations worked out a common strategy of the region to meet the challenge of "globalization" and have solved regional problems on the principle of equality and mutual benefits, thus making a positive contribution to protecting the rights and interests of the peoples of the countries in the Caribbean region and promoting their wellbeing and boosting cooperation among member nations, the message said.

Expressing belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and the CARICOM member nations would continue to develop favorably in the future, too, the message hoped that the meeting would successfully discuss all the agenda items and yield good results.
