Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- A political party and an organization of Democratic Congo and Norway released statements on June 24 on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle. The National Committee of the Genuine Lumumbist Patriotic Party of Democratic Congo in its statement laid bare the purpose and illegality of the U.S. imperialists' occupation of south Korea and their true colors as the provoker of the Korean War. Charging that the U.S. has reduced south Korea into its colony and is maneuvering to extremely aggravate the situation of the Korean Peninsula while turning down the just demand of the DPRK for replacing the Armistice Agreement with a peace accord, the statement said: We hold that the U.S. should withdraw all its aggression armed forces from south Korea without delay and Korea's reunification should be achieved in the spirit of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration. Proceeding from the principle of impartiality, the United Nations should make every possible effort so that Korea's reunification can be realized by the Korean people themselves. The Friendship Society Norway-Korea in its statement accused the U.S. imperialists of having driven the situation of the Korean Peninsula to the brink of war by instigating the UN Security Council to adopt the "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK. Bitterly condemning the U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK, the statement demanded the unconditional repeal of the "resolution". Meanwhile, the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, in their joint statement issued on the occasion of the month for international solidarity with the Korean people on June 25, held that the U.S. imperialists should immediately get out of south Korea and stop their pressure upon the DPRK. |
