Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- Yehia Zakaria Khairullah, chairman of the Egyptian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, issued a statement on June 18 strongly denouncing the UNSC for having adopted, at the U.S. instigation, the "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK over its second nuclear test.
The statement branded the "resolution" as a disgraceful thing contrary to the international laws and usage.
The UN acting under the control of the U.S. is being deprived of its legality and impartiality in realizing equality among countries and ensuring global peace and security, it pointed out.
The statement contended that the DPRK, a sovereign state, has the right to bolster up its nuclear deterrent in order to defend its sovereignty from challenges of imperialism.
