Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- Sheng Mingfu, president of the National Committee of the Agricultural and Forestry Workers Union of China, who visited the DPRK, praised President Kim Il Sung for having performed the immortal exploits for the times and history through his distinguished ideo-theoretical activities and gigantic revolutionary practices.
He said that Kim Il Sung devoted all his life to the liberation and prosperity of the country and turned the DPRK into a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defense.
Kim Il Sung is the great leader of the Korean people and a close friend of the Chinese people, he said, noting with high appreciation that he made enormous contributions to the world revolution and the international communist movement.
Visiting the International Friendship Exhibition House, I keenly realized that Kim Il Sung is a peerlessly great man enjoying high praises from all people, he stressed.
He noted that General Secretary Kim Jong Il, who is successfully carrying forward to completion the revolutionary cause of Kim Il Sung, has wisely led the Korean people.
