The participants in the meeting said that on June 26 the "Defence Ministry" finally confirmed the adjustment bill on the "basic plan for defence reforms" and opened it to public through media.

The said bill contains plans for mounting preemptive attack upon the north and introducing the latest offensive weapons to the army, they pointed out.

They charged that it is a dangerous act of pushing the Korean Peninsula to the war disaster to call for preemptive attack on the north.

Condemning the "Defence Ministry" for threatening the people's lives and destroying peace under the signboard of "reforms," they demanded immediate repeal of the plan for preemptive attack on the north and prompt resignation of Ri Sang Hui, minister of "Defence."

They declared that all the people would fight against the Lee Myung Bak bellicose forces' war moves for aggression.
