Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- Some days ago, traitor Lee Myung Bak invited Pak Hui Thae, representative of the south Korean Grand National Party, and Ri Hoe Chang, president of the south Korean Liberal Progress Party, to "Chongwadae" where he let loose a whole string of jargons about "successes" made in his sycophantic and traitorous tour of the U.S. He was also reported to have asked for "consensus of views on the present political situation in south Korea and "supra-partisan cooperation" in this regard. Minju Joson Friday observes in a signed commentary in this regard: The recent get-together arranged by Lee is a blatant challenge to the just struggle of the south Korean people as it was nothing but a move to intensify his fascist dictatorship in a bid to hold in check the advance of progressive forces and weather his ruling crisis. Lee, seized with extreme uneasiness about his rule because of the movement for issuing "declarations on the situation" rapidly gaining in scope and strength throughout south Korea, seeks to further reinforce the fascist system of dictatorship, zealously backed by the ultra-right conservative elements. A few days after the above-mentioned "event at the Chongwadae" Lee informally designated his confidants who displayed the fascist spirit in the past as new "public prosecutor general" and "chief of the Office of National Tax Administration," bringing to light his wicked aim to intensify the fascist dictatorship. The deplorable position of Lee was patently proved by the fact that he begged such politicians as Pak Hui Thae and Ri Hoe Chang who look more dead than alive for help in a bid to get rid of the present ruling crisis. No matter how desperately the traitor may work to tide over his ruling crisis, this will only give further momentum to the anti-"government" struggle of the south Korean people. |
