National Photo Exhibition Opens
Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) -- A national photo exhibition was opened to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the demise of President Kim Il Sung.

Displayed in the venue of the exhibition are at least 180 photos under the titles "The Benefactor of Liberation Who Liberated My Country", "The Invincible and Iron-Willed Commander", "The Tender-Hearted Father of the People" and "Being Always Together on the Road to Bring about the People's Well-being".

"The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung at the Time He Commands the Final Offensive Operation for Crushing the Japanese Imperialists", "The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung Addressing a Pyongyang Mass Rally Welcoming His Triumphant Return to the Liberated Country," "The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung Standing at the Tribune of Honor of the Military Parade of the Korean People's Army", "The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung Conversing with Combatants of the People's Army on the Front" and other photos deal with the undying revolutionary feats of the President who defeated two ferocious imperialisms in one generation and achieved the liberation of the country and its freedom and independence with his outstanding Songun revolutionary idea and leadership.

Also on display there are photos showing the President's personality as a peerlessly great man who built the socialist power of Juche on this land by making endless journeys of on-the-spot guidance, regarding it as his maxim to believe in people as in Heaven and his noble traits and photos depicting the majestic image of the President who conducted energetic activities to reunify the country and accomplish global independence.

Attracting the eyes of visitors are photos impressively dealing with the Songun revolutionary feats of Kim Jong Il who successfully carried out the cause of perpetuating the memory of the President and is leading the building of a great prosperous and powerful nation to victory.

An opening ceremony took place at the People's Palace of Culture on Friday.

Present there were Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of ministries and national institutions and officials and working people in Pyongyang.

Minister of Culture Kang Nung Su made an opening address.
