The Songun politics of the Workers' Party of Korea is a powerful weapon which provided the great Songun revolutionary unity centered on the headquarters of the revolution, an invincible treasured sword that helped the country demonstrate its dignity as a matchless power and serves as an engine which helped all the people give fullest play to their mental power and bring about a heyday of the country's prosperity, the article says, and goes on:

The whole party and army and all the people are single-mindedly united around the headquarters of the revolution on the basis of the monolithic idea, faith, comradeship and the sense of obligation. This true picture of our society is the result of the great Songun politics. Thanks to the WPK's Songun politics the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK have grown to be armed forces strong enough to mercilessly punish anyone provoking it and its national defence industry has a solid foundation capable of producing any military and technical means necessary for undertaking a modern warfare.

The revolutionary soldier spirit advocated by the Songun politics of the WPK is the noble revolutionary spirit symbolizing and representing the great era of Songun.

The Kanggye spirit which helped pave the way for building a land of bliss pulling through difficulties at the time of ordeal and the spirit of self-reliance and fortitude which helped bring about the present great revolutionary upswing are based on the revolutionary soldier spirit.

Thanks to the great Songun politics the Korean revolution will always emerge victorious in the future, too, concludes the article.
