Many Literary Works Dating back to Period of Anti-Japanese Revolutionary Struggle Discovered
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- In recent years the Juche Literature Institute of the Academy of Social Sciences of the DPRK has discovered and ascertained at least 50 poems and songs and revolutionary narratives created and disseminated in the vast area along the River Amnok centering around Mt. Paektu and in the northeastern area of China during the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle. They deal with the personality of President Kim Il Sung as a great man born of Heaven.

Under the harsh colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists the Korean people trusted and followed Kim Il Sung as the man who would save the destiny of the country and the nation and created and disseminated poems, songs and narratives representing their ardent desire.

Among the works reflecting the absolute trust in Kim Il Sung are "Kim Il Sung Appeared in Korea", "The Sun of the Korean People", "Let's Fight, Reposing Trust in the General Only" and "Azalea".

"The Hero Appeared in Blue Rivers and Mountains", "The Great Bear Shines" and "Giant Footstep" truthfully depict the feelings of the people praising Kim Il Sung as the greatest general and a peerless patriot produced by the nation.

The works lauded Kim Il Sung as the greatest man who advanced the military idea and war methods of Juche and established the tradition of single-minded unity.

Also among them are works dealing with Kim Il Sung's paternal love for the guerrillas and people, the might of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army and the people's sincere assistance to the guerrillas.
