A floral basket in the joint name of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the Central Military Commission of the WPK, the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly and the DPRK Cabinet was laid before the statue of the President.

Written on the ribbon of the floral basket were letters "The great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung is immortal".

The participants paid respect in humble reverence to the President, the founder of socialist Korea and the father of the nation, looking up to his statue.

They paid respectful homage to the President who achieved the historic cause of national liberation and built a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence, on this land and laid the eternal foundation for national prosperity.

Among the visitors to the palace on the same day were anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters, servicepersons of the Korean People's Army and working people from all walks of life.

Meanwhile, the diplomatic corps, the military attaches corps, representatives of international organizations here and foreign guests also visited the palace Wednesday and paid homage to the President.
