Among the audience were senior party, army and state officials, a chairperson of a friendly party, officials of party, armed forces and power organs, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions and persons of merits, working people in Pyongyang, overseas compatriots, the chief of the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front, foreigners related to the revolutionary activities of the President, diplomatic envoys of various countries and representatives of international organizations here.

The concert that began with a female solo and chorus "Everlasting Smile of the President" made the theater pervade with boundless reverence for the peerlessly great man.

Put on the stage were numbers of diverse genres such as "Song of the Amnok River", "Nostalgia", "Song of Ploughing" and "Song of the Sea," favorite songs of the President.

In such numbers as soprano "Red Chol Pass" and female octet chorus "Father Is on the Frontline" the performers enthusiastically sang of the reality in which the history of the sun is given steady continuity thanks to General Secretary Kim Jong Il who has defended the dignity of the country and provided the people with happiness through his tireless forced march for field guidance and successfully carried out the behests of the President.

Diverse events including remembrance meetings and concerts took place in various parts of the country.
