Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- Bonakele Majuba, secretary of the Mfumalanga Provincial Committee of the South African Communist Party who is chairman of the South African Association of Friendship and Solidarity with Korean People, issued a statement on July 4 to commemorate the 15th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung. The statement said that the President is always alive in the hearts of not only the Korean people but also the world progressives as the benevolent father and teacher as he built a powerful socialist state in Korea to provide the peoples of developing countries with the great inspiring banner for building a new society while rendering material and mental assistance to their struggle. The exploits performed by him in accomplishing socialism of Korea and the human cause of independence will remain long in the world history of politics, it stressed. It said that though 15 years have passed since his demise, the President seems to still lead the country and the people, thanks to the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il who is perfectly carrying forward his cause. Noting that Kim Jong Il has turned the DPRK into an invincible socialist fortress with powerful self-defensive deterrence by reliably inheriting the Songun idea and the cause of the President, the statement said: This is a great encouragement to the peoples of developing countries. The noble cause of Kim Il Sung will be surely realized as Kim Jong Il is leading Korean-style socialism with his distinguished leadership ability and original Songun politics, the statement stressed. |
