Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Canada (Marxist-Leninist) issued statements supporting the Korean people's cause of national reunification and rejecting the anti-DPRK and anti-reunification moves of the United States and the Lee Myung Bak group and the UN Security Council's "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK on June 15, the 9th publication anniversary of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.
A statement titled "9th publication anniversary of the historic June 15 North-South Joint Declaration" said that all the achievements gained by the Korean people are arousing sympathy from the progressive humankind and the DPRK has become a fortress foiling the U.S. wild design to dominate the world.
It wished the Korean people fresh success in the struggle for national reunification.
A statement entitled "Korea is one! We denounce the Lee Myung Bak regime's retrogression! We oppose the U.S. nuclear blackmail!" expressed full support for the Korean people's cause of national reunification, saying that at present the people of Canada are obliged to inform other peoples of the reality of the Korean Peninsula as part of the action for redressing the wrongs it did against the Korean people.
A statement titled "The UNSC, roll back its 'resolution 1874'! The United States, take off its hands from Korea!" condemned the UNSC's "resolution on sanctions" as one more provocative move of the U.S. seeking to stifle the DPRK.
