The message said that the meeting is a historic one of weighty significance in further strengthening the basic organizations of Chongryon and developing the movement of Koreans in Japan onto a new high stage as required by the developing reality, true to the behests of President Kim Il Sung.

Over the past years the officials of Chongryon branches have firmly defended the Chongryon organization, gave full play to the Juche character and national identity in the society of Koreans in Japan and creditably performed a vanguard role in all the patriotic work including the work of inviting Koreans in Japan to come to the fold of Chongryon with indomitable faith and patriotic conscience despite difficulties, the message said.

The SPA Presidium is rejoiced over the fact that the officials of Chongryon branches have covered the road of noble patriotism and performed worthwhile feats for the country and the nation, the message said, highly estimating their feats.

It said that Chongryon and the movement of Koreans in Japan will always make victorious advance along the road of justice under the uplifted banner of the Juche idea and patriotism even though there may be temporary difficulties and turns and twists in the way of patriotic cause of Chongryon.

The message expressed belief that the meeting would mark an occasion of decisive turn in further strengthening basic organizations to consolidate Chongryon organizationally and ideologically and expand its own patriotic forces, and wished the meeting good result.
