Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- DPRK players won one gold medal, four silver medals and four bronze medals at the 1st Asian Youth Games.
Kim Jong Gum finished first with a record of 12.34m in the girls' triple jump while the DPRK boys' football team came second.
Ko Yong Sim bagged a silver medal in the girls' 1,500m race, Sin Ji Hyang in the girls' 10-m platform and Kim Jin Su and Kim Song I in the mixed doubles of the table tennis event.
Jong Un Sim placed third in the girls' pole vault, Pak Kum Hyang in the girls' discus throw, Hyon Il Myong in the boys' 10-m platform and Kim Song I in the girls' singles of the table tennis event.
